劈吊和劈杀比较类似，动作要领都在于一个“劈”上，也就是出拍的瞬间会有个闪腕的动作故意使拍面侧斜，使球路迅速变成对角而非直线，观看者就会觉得这个球是“砍”出来的，出球后球头是保持着高速旋转，球速十分快。劈吊更侧重调动对手的网前，而劈杀更注重对于边线的控制，由于这种技术的迷惑性很强，所以往往是很多球手的有力得分方式。

　用较高的弧线把球击到对方底线附近，以削弱对方的进攻威力，消耗对方的体力。

　吊球

　把对方击来的球，从后场轻巧地还击到对方网前地区，叫吊球。它是调动对方，打乱对方阵脚、配合战术的一种击球技术。

　杀球

　是把对方打过来的高球，尽量在高的击球点上用力扣压下去。这种球力量大、速度快，主要包括正手杀球、反手杀球和绕头杀球3种技术。

　放网前球

　是将对方的吊球或网前球，用球拍轻轻一托，使球一过网顶就朝下坠落。

　搓球

　是放网前球技术的一种发展。击球点大约与肩同高时，利用“搓”、“切”、“挑”的动作，摩擦球托底部，使球改变在空中的正常运行轨道，产生沿横轴翻滚或纵轴旋转越过网顶。

　推球

　是与网前假动作相配合，在引诱对手上网时，突然将球快速推到后场底角。

　钩球

一般来说有以下这些：劈吊， 它和吊球的一样的是都要用斜拍面去击球,击球时用和杀球一样的力量并稍微做一些和吊球一样的包切动作,使球过网后迅速下落,落点比纯吊球离网远一些但是速度接近杀球。但是用的是斜拍面击球，所以击球的一部分力量没有作用在球上导致球速还是比杀球慢一些，但是正因为如此它最好的优点就是落点更靠近边线（原因就是斜拍面击的球）。劈吊如果能和杀球结合好的话，能给对手簇不及防的效果！ 滑板， 前期准备工作和引拍与头顶击高远球一样，只是击球时候采取由右向左抹击球托的方法。整个过程握拍放松，小臂由外旋至内旋，手腕由外展至内收。如果抹击球托后侧并且角度小一些则可以吊直线，如果抹击左后侧并且角度大一些则可以吊对角线。 下压， 下压比较难，用拍头压球毛，尾部尖端的地方，利用球自己的弹性形变跳到球拍上，或者把球压下，一直到球托向上立着，这样直接用拍框触碰球毛的侧面，球倒的时候重心向拍面，稍为控制球拍放平就可以了。死球：　　①球撞网并挂在网上，或停在网顶上。

　②球撞网或网柱后开始在击球这一方落向地面。　③球触及地面。过腰， 就是发球时（球碰到球的时候为准），位置高过腰部。差不多就是举的太高了吧，一般比赛这个判的不严格。重发， 对于有争议球或者站位站错的时候，可以重新发这个球。

另外还有近网的戳球（放网前），滑板扑球\打后场，手上有个停顿，晃了对手一下。。。这些都是羽毛球中常见的专业术语
